Welcoming a wonderful 2012 :)
Hi guys! Just wanted to share some snippets from the happenings of my little life thus far. The holidays were great and I’m so thrilled about this new year. I’ve never been so excited, and even though it’s only been about 9-10 days into the year, I’m already having a blast! I’m probably at my happiest with my life right now - being engaged in activities I love, taking action towards my goals, working hard, and having wonderful people in my life. I’m so very blessed.

On the first week of January, I attended the Rose Parade in Pasadena for the first time! Unfortunately there was a light post, a tree, and people constantly waving in front of us in the way. And without any spiffy lenses, I couldn’t take the best pictures. T^T The floats were AMAZING however, and the parade overall was surprisingly quite fun. The traffic afterwards was equally spectacular. -_-
Also! Just this past weekend, I attended my first Anime LA convention as Ciel Phantomhive with David as Alois Trancy (who was also the Shin of our NANA group last summer, if you can recall ^^). Once we got to the con, I realized I had forgotten my eye patch at home which made me very very sad. I didn’t want to drive with it on of course, so I thought I had thrown it somewhere in the back seat. Stupid, stupid. T_T I was very close to driving back home and driving back another two hours just to get it but David helped me calm down and reminded me to make the most of the situation. :)
This was actually a really enjoyable con despite it’s much smaller size in comparison to ones like Anime Expo or Comic-Con. I think I’m beginning to take a fondness towards smaller cons. Less people = less hectic, more comfortable atmosphere, and more time (and space!) to do what you wanna do around the con.
I really wanted to buy this. Too bad our Sebby cosplayer couldn’t be with us today! D;

As you can tell I’m currently very obsessed with One Piece right now, haha. I’ve been trying to catch up with all the episodes and I WANNA COSPLAY EVERYONE, lol. Not only is it fun to watch but it’s actually really inspiring and it makes me want to do great things with my life. o_o Oh, anime… GOD I’m such a geek.
Finally, I shall end this extensive post with a photo of me in my Tae Kwon Do dobok. I recently got back into this beloved discipline. It’s been too long. This time, it’s all the way to black belt and beyond, baby!
