I weightlift free weights, 45 minutes, 2 days a week, and the other five days I'm doing basketball. But can you tell me your work-out regime? Thanks (also if you could tag me in this response so i can see it)
Wonderful, really glad to hear that!
Here are my posts regarding my work-out/diet regime.

Running is the best thing, I would say. Just make the time to run everyday. Personally, aside from running, I do Tae Kwon Do which is a LOT of kicking so it’s a great workout for my legs which I think helped a lot in losing the thigh fat. You can try those workout videos too, for some good cardio. I enjoy Tae Bo mainly because I grew up with it and they do lots of kicking/martial arts type moves which fits to my liking. In addition to working out, you also need to diet (as difficult as it may be :/) if you want good results.

Staying convicted! I’ve been dieting and staying active, and as long as you keep at it for a good amount of time, there will surely be results. More specifically, I eat well for the majority of the week (like oatmeal, tuna, chicken, fish, fruits, veggies) and I’ll have my cheat days on the weekends so I won’t go crazy.
For workouts, I’ll lift for about an hour using dumbbells (targeting shoulders, biceps, triceps, and back) and then another half hour to hour of cardio. I try to work out as vigorously as I can about 3-4 times a week. In general though, I like to stay pretty active be it running, dancing, shooting hoops, parkour, martial arts, or just longboarding around my neighborhood.
I’ve been keeping a log of my fitness/measurements progress since the beginning of this year and it’s pretty crazy what I’ve actually accomplished from when I started ‘til now:
January 19, 2012
- Weight: 112 lbs
- Waist: 26”, Hips: 35 1/2”, Thigh: 21”
June 10, 2012
- Weight: 107-109 lbs
- Waist: 25”, Hips: 34”, Thigh: 19”
- *also gained more tone and muscle! ^^
I would write down my current measurements, then set new (reasonable/attainable) goals for myself about every six weeks and then work to achieve them. It took six months because I wasn’t really strict on my diet until about the beginning of May when I started lifting weights. I’m now at the point where I am generally happy with my body and just need to maintain it by continuing to eat healthy and stay active.
